In Western Sydney, access to the life-changing power of music education is extremely limited. As students enter their teenage years and begin to question who they are and where they belong, music becomes a powerful anchor for their identity.
The CONTINUUM MUSIC team has been delivering a year-long community-based classical music program in Western Sydney for nine years, giving young people from Year 1 to Year 12 access to high-quality music education, supporting them to reach their full potential as musicians and confident individuals.

"Many of our students are from low income families, or with limited access to music education. Yet the talent and empowering outcomes of music for the community holds high potential. Barriers are financial—but also include the absence of music in school curricula, limited awareness of pathways into music, little or no access to instruments, and few opportunities to experience live performance or structured music programs."
